Mobile First Approach
A mobile first approach is imperative if our customer has to take a lead in technology adaption across the continium. This approach will ensure that the patient/user groups are at the center. The approach makes the organization agile giving the edge over compitition and being contineousely in touch with the respective patient/user gropus of the platform. The physical boundaries that has been a constraint all the while can be transcended seemlessely
Patient Self-service approach
Mobile platform and portal ensures that the tech savvy and IT enabled patients/user groups can do a lot of tasks by themselves, like registering the details through a portal/mobile app, generate appointment with the Doctor online, pay bill online through various online mechanism, view the reports online through portal / app etc. this will reduce unnessary crowding at the counters. This will also reduce wait time and empower patient/ usergroups the engage better with the care giver.
Hybrid technical architecture
The application deployment with such a large scape of application footprint is a challenging task, especially under the OUR CUSTOMER current scenario. A Mix of micro services-based component and SOA based component ensures that the technical architecture is robust, scalable and resilient. With a clear categorization of System of Engagement and System of Records a clear hybrid technical strategy will be formulated to cater to the varied and diverse need of the hospital IT landscape. This helps in unification and IT adaption across the organization.
Digital layer
Technology enabled digital layer ensures that the data for different system is available on demand and when required. The new architectural approach can be leveraged to rapidly deploying digital capabilities using modern and contemporary technologies. This layer will be capable of collecting the data at the central level and yet maintain the Single source of truth for all the systems. This will ensure that the data is available on demand and when the caregiver/management requires.
Analytics for effective decision making
Data as we know provides a lot of insight when we take the right approach to data analysis. Analytics plays an important role in understanding the case details of the patient or functioning of the hospital. Analytics based approach ensures that the decision is made based on objective evaluation of the available data. it can provide lot of insight and open up new dimensions in to approaching the problems. Analytics based approach ensures that objectivity is maintained in decision making, Biases that leads to wrong decision making can be minimised, get everyone on the same pedestal of decision making.
Interoperable systems approach
Along with integration and the digital layer, interoperability plays a critical role in data being available on demand and the right kind of data exchange approach is maintained. Interoperable standards like HL7, FHIR, CDA/CCR ensures that the integration efforts are minimal and the burden of changing the application through customization is reduced. This will ensure faster deployment of the applications and faster turnaround time.
Tele-x approach
With the current scenarios around the industry Tele-x care giving approach like tele consulting, tele radiology, telemedicine, tele oncology, telecardiology, etc has gained acceptability. Adaption of such technologies in to our customers sphere will provide tremendous advantages to the organization. Tele screening of patient before visiting the hospital, reviewing the radiology report through a tele radiology platform, Obtaining medical opinion through online platform ensures that the queue at the reception in te locations will reduce and will deliver the patient tremendous value. Doctors and care giers can also focus better on their patient with such technology enablement.
Technology enabled care
With the current scenarios around the industry technology enabled cate providing systems such as remote patient monitoring, eICU, App-based patient tracking, etc can play a vital role in delivering care to the right patient. Also such system will deliver tremendous value to patient in rural areas where reachability of care givers are limited. With the technological landscape that delivers such capability to our customer picking up this is the right time to incorporate IT.
Engagement based approach
Technical platform that engages with the patient on a regular basis ensures that the patient is connected with the hospital. A platform that reminds the patient to have their medication, intimates the patient when their turn is nearing for consultation through the platform that educates the patient on various clinical protocol can go a long way in ensuring patient satisfaction. A well educate patients will ensure that the efficiency of the hospital increases, wait time decreases.
Next-gen technology adaption
With the progress in technology, technology as an enabler is slowly gaining traction. Today technology can act as a clinical assist to the doctor, assist radiologist in analysing the images, assist nurse in monitoring the patient, create patient context specific patient documents, etc such system has tremendous potential to improve the efficiency multi-x. as an early adopter to such technology our customers will maintain its supremacy as a technology adapter as well.
Digital hospital vision
Digital hospitals integrate technology, devices, other assets and resources across the environment for near-real-time data access and analysis. It accelerates patient journeys, increasing operational efficiencies, and optimizing resource utilization for better experiences and outcomes.
